Is anyone else delighted it’s March? For me, being in the UK, January and February are the worst months of the year. March makes me feel as though I’ve turned a corner and I’m now heading for Spring and Summer – which is a really cheery prospect.
However, I mustn’t complain about January, as it was so exciting to see the release of THE SECRET SISTER, which I co-wrote with my long time friend Karen Clarke.
We loved writing the book – Karen took the character of Ella, and I wrote the Colleen chapters. The two characters are very different. And as we are talking about weather (we are aren’t we?) I like to think of Ella as summer, and Colleen as winter. If you would like to download a copy or pre-order the paperback which is out in April please follow this link to Amazon https://tinyurl.com/sd7f9pt Or you can find it over on Kobo, Googleplay and Applebook.
For the last month I’ve been buried under the structural edits for my 4th solo psychological thriller, and today I finally pressed send and waved my book off as it went on its way to my editor. I’m really pleased with the book, which comes out in July, and can’t wait to share it with you!
I’m hoping to do a couple events at local libraries in the spring/summer – so will share those details with you as soon as I have confirmed dates.
In other news, the paperback of TRACES OF HER is available from The Works at the bargain price of £2 – cor blimey – so please do head over to their website and grab yourself a copy – or take a trip to their stores. It’s not in all the stores, but I have heard it’s in the Bedford branch.
Finally, I’m SO excited that HER LAST LIE will soon be out in paperback – and even more exciting than that – it’s being made into a film! I will be sharing more news about that over the coming months here, and on my Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts!
Take care and best wishes.
