I’ve been busy during February and the beginning of March working on novel 3. And I’m thrilled, and relieved, to say the first draft is now with my lovely editor. Fingers crossed she likes it.
I love getting to the end of the first draft, as I feel I know my characters well, and I know what they would and wouldn’t do, and would and wouldn’t say. I can visualise them in the main setting of the novel, which is a village in Cornwall. In fact, I’ve grown so fond of one of my characters, that I feel a bit guilty about what I’ve put her through!
Book three has a chilling new title, chosen by my editor and the team at HQ Digital. I’m delighted with it, and will be sharing it with you next week, when it should appear on Amazon.
I’m thrilled how well Tell the Truth has been received by lovely readers. It’s the best thing ever for a writer to get good feedback on their writing. So thank you if you’ve reviewed it – it’s so appreciated.
The paperback of Tell the Truth is out now – and has appeared on the shelf of my local Waterstones which was a very exciting moment I couldn’t resist photographing. :o)
In June I’ll be doing my first ever talk as a writer. It takes place at Stotfold Library, and I’m nervous and excited in equal measures. I hope I don’t come over tongue-tied!
I think that’s about it for now,
